How to choose your stone?

Today I'm talking to you about a topic close to my heart: the power of stones.
One that we talk about so much these days, but which isn't so easy for most of us. Choosing your stone is something that comes naturally, as you'll see...
When I had the GRID boutique in Bordeaux, we received many customers who knew exactly which stone they were looking for and its associated virtues. However, many others had absolutely no idea what they wanted and were completely new to the world of energy, stones, and lithotherapy. I remember some customers coming in completely disoriented because their osteopath or alternative medicine practitioner had advised them to wear a certain stone to help them resolve a current issue.
In this case, these people are already very open to the magical world of stones and crystals, and I was simply directing them to THE stone that might be right for them at the moment they were in the store, thinking about the positive outcome of their problem.
Because for me, and I mean "for me," the solution lies in attraction, the instinctive connection to a stone at a given moment. In other words, the one that "calls," that "calls" us, speaks to us, attracts us. I've always worked in this direction when we don't really know what we're looking for in terms of crystals; letting ourselves be guided and moving towards the stone that attracts us, especially for no reason. Then, I would read the virtues of the chosen stone to the client, and I can say that every time, the symbolism perfectly matched the client's situation.
As if by magic, you might say, not for me at all, quite simply because we are all connected by invisible filaments of energy and our instinct knows what is good for us, starting with something as material as a stone.
At the store I also had these skeptical people who said to me directly when seeing all these beautiful stones: "Do you believe in it?" To which I always replied "How do you expect it to work if I don't believe in it? Try it! You'll see!" Even if today after many readings my opinion has changed a little on this because even if we don't believe in a positive affirmation said out loud, its effect would inevitably be positive regardless of our degree of belief in this sentence since the brain does not differentiate between reality and imagination. And I find this very impactful: so finally perhaps the solution would be to go through experience: In the case of the power of stones, even if we don't really believe in it: try it ❤️
And to begin with, it's all a matter of perception: which stone attracts us at first glance, the one that catches our eye 😊, will be the right one! The power of stones comes from sight, the first feeling: the emotion felt when looking at them.
It all starts there.
Then learn about them, their virtues, their benefits, which Chakra does they correspond to...?
Stones are categorized by color and hue to better bring energies and benefits to the different Chakras (I'll come back to this theme in a future article) of the human body. They also have virtues established by many different lithotherapists. On this subject, I read a wonderful book by Kathryn Hudson called "Acting with Crystals," and if the subject interests you, I highly recommend it. This approach particularly resonates with me because the author offers a very unique perspective to each of us.

She shares her experiences and anecdotes. She invites us to return to ourselves, to our natural clairvoyance, to our connection to the greater good. She gives us her usage tips and some protocols, and at the end, she simply details her 44 allied stones for protection, love, power, communication, and healing, as well as the messages these stones have to convey.
This book is a true bedside guide to the world of stones.
When choosing your stone, you can also consider whether it's polished, tumbled, or rough. Some would say that the rougher it is, the more its virtues will be felt, but I think anything is fine, as long as you are consciously connected with your stone and have chosen one for yourself. Stones are teachers and have much to offer us, so in my opinion, each one has a particular message to deliver.
To give you a personal example, my favorite stone is quartz. You may already know this. It's been with me for years, and I choose to wear it on my person, around my neck most of the time. Sometimes I change it depending on my mood, too. But this stone really stays with me! There's a special connection between us, and that's why I sell it on my website, because quartz is a very powerful stone for me.
It was in a stone store in South America, in Lima, Peru, that I felt a special attraction. I was drawn to this stone. It was obvious that I had to buy quartz, quartz, these quartzes... I felt a deep inner peace and a kind of joy within me, so I bought this stone and others. Then I began to observe them and think about how I was going to make it possible for people to wear these stones. So we did some setting tests and then a few small collections of Quartz followed as I found crystals that inspired me the most.
I'll explain how to purify and cleanse your crystals and stones at home in a future article!
In the meantime, you can find all my raw and polished stones here, my quartz jewelry here, as well as all my lucky charms and other talismans made from unique stones and crystals here.
Beautiful connection to your crystals, and see you soon!!!
